From the 1st April 2015, the Practice is required under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients with a named accountable GP.
Your named accountable GP is the doctor you are registered with and is one of the three partners in the Practice.
Please ask at reception if you wish to find out who your named GP is. If you want to choose a different partner as your named GP, please inform the receptionist.
The named accountable GP is responsible for patients’ overall care at the Practice and for ensuring that contracted services are delivered to patients. Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the Practice.
Please note that your named/usual GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss these with an alternative doctor.
