What to do if your problem is urgent.
If your problem is urgent we will always endeavour to see you as soon as possible, via our scheduled appointments
All appointments for the urgent care clinic are booked on the day, you can organise an appointment by phoning reception which is open from 8 a.m.
If all scheduled appointments are booked, and your problem is a medical emergency, we will ask you to come to the surgery after the scheduled appointment session to be seen- this may mean you will have to wait until a clinician is free.
Please note that urgent and emergency appointments are for medical issues only- this does not include matters like sick notes etc.
The receptionist will ask you for a brief summary of your problem. This allows us to make sure you are safe, occasionally we might suggest another service such as minor injuries or A&E. We understand sometimes things are personal so of course, you have the right to decline to tell the receptionist.
